I dropped my laptop on the floor and it doesn`t want to boot anymore. What can i do? I deleted my pictures from a memory card by mistake. Is it possible to get them back? My external Lacie harddive dropped from my desk and now is just making a strange noise like mobile phone ringing. What happened? My Seagate drive started smoking and doesn't want to spin anymore. I tried to put a similar board from the same brand but it is still not visible in the BIOS. My iPod isn't playing any songs and just shows me a sad face in the display. Did i lose all of my albums? I formatted my Windows XP partition to reinstall Windows and I forgot to save my users home folder, can i get the data back?
Q: I dropped my laptop on the floor and it doesn`t want to boot anymore. What can i do? A: The head set is possibly damaged and has to be replaced. Don`t keep your laptop powered, because the heads can scratch the platters. Take the drive out of the laptop and send it to us. If you have problem getting the drive out, we can do it for you.
Q: I deleted my pictures from a memory card by mistake. Is it possible to get them back? A: If you didn't take any new pictures with your camera there is a very high chance to get all your pictures back. If you started taking new photos, only some but not all can be recovered. Give us a call for instructions.
Q: My external Lacie harddive dropped from my desk and now is just making a strange noise like mobile phone ringing. What happened? A: Probably the motor inside is jammed. Don't keep it running because you can damage the drive more than it is. Your drive has to be fixed in our laboratory.
Q: My Seagate drive started smoking and doesn't want to spin anymore. I tried to put a similar board from the same brand but it is still not visible in the BIOS. A: Your replacement Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is not compatible with that drive. We recommend that you don't experiment and send your drive to us, otherwise you can lose your data forever!
Q: My iPod isn't playing any songs and just shows me a sad face in the display. Did i lose all of my albums? A: There could be many reasons why your iPod is unhappy. Malfunction in the electronics, corrupted firmware or harddrive damage. The good news is there is high chance for saving all your songs.
Q: I formatted my Windows XP partition to reinstall Windows and I forgot to save my users home folder, can i get the data back? A: Formatted drives can be recovered but there may be missing or corrupt data if you have already reinstalled Windows prior to calling us.
